This policy explains what personal information DJB Golf Performance collects through this website, how it is used, and the choices you have. DJB Golf Performance is my golf coaching business. I am Darren J. Black.
What I collect
I collect only what you choose to send me:
- Book a Service form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the service you are interested in, your preferred dates (optional) and any message you write.
- Contact form: your name, email address, subject and message.
- Email: anything you include when you email me directly.
Like most websites, my hosting provider keeps routine server logs (such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested). I use them to keep the site secure and working, not to identify you.
How I use it
- To reply to your question or request and to schedule and give lessons.
- To send you a confirmation that I received your request.
- To run my business, including keeping the records I need for accounting and tax.
I do not sell or rent your personal information, and I do not use it for advertising.
Who can see it
Only I, and anyone who helps me run the business, can see your request. I also rely on companies that host this website and deliver its email. They handle your information only to provide those services.
If a page on this site includes a YouTube or Vimeo video, that provider may set its own cookies when you press play. Links to my Instagram and X profiles take you to those sites, which have their own privacy policies.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. A small cookie that keeps a session open is used only when I log in to manage the site.
How long I keep it
Booking requests are stored on the website and are deleted automatically after two years. Emails and records I need for accounting or tax are kept for as long as the law requires.
Your choices
You can ask me at any time to show you the information I hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Contact me and I will take care of it.
Keeping it safe
I take reasonable steps to protect your information, including secure connections to this website and limiting who can log in. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, so please do not include sensitive details such as payment card numbers in your message.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 13. If you are booking lessons for a child, please send the request yourself as a parent or guardian.
Changes to this policy
If I change how I handle personal information, I will update this page and the date at the top.
